My Ethos

A wholly, and holy, passionate life.

Writing has been my passion since I was a little girl, and so has the quest to know Spirit. I’ve spent a good part of my life studying meditation, yoga, ancient texts, nature, philosophy and literature, and exploring ways to connect with the divinity that I know lies within me, and you. Faith-in-Form is a culmination of these efforts, a curated response to the need— my need, and perhaps yours too—to unify flesh with the mind & spirit, and create a wholly, and holy, passionate life. 

There were times when I really believed that I didn’t belong on this planet. I was too different. I felt too deeply. And I couldn’t communicate what I was feeling & seeing, except through the creative arts. But along the way I found my body. In all its pain, in its deep sense of knowing, and, in the beautiful ways it heals.

We all have this healing capacity. And whether we recognize it or not, we are all born to create. Born to tell stories – and receive them. Born to share ourselves; our loves, our losses. Born to heal, and persevere. And in the end, we leave an imprint of ourselves on this earth. This may be the smallest, most gentlest of imprints, a softer side left for the world. And that’s okay.

It really, really is okay.

Faith-in-Form is faith in the container that houses us: this body, these shapes we try on and manifest. It’s faith in the canvas, the page, the instrument, the stage; it’s faith in that thing we create: whether a vessel, a table, a garden, or a life. It is Faith in the Form and in the Form(less).  

This is my container. I invite you to join me, create with me. Heal with me. Find a life of joy and ease with me. A softer side of yourself. And I’ll help you find your own form and believe in what it contains.
